📚🕷 Decorating The Cottage Library for Halloween! 📚🕷
Hello Folk of the Hollow!
Today I wanted to share with you guys how I decorated my cottage library! Now, we decided to be a little frugal this year when it comes to buying Halloween decorations—we’re saving up for a big home renovation project that, frankly, absolutely takes priority—so this is probably the most we will decorate this year. But that’s okay! You don’t need to buy a ton of decorations and be the biggest house on the block to still have a fun Halloween!
Most of these came from the Dollar Tree or the Dollar General (both of which, honestly, are really poppin’ off this year with their decorations) and I’m really excited to have them. Even after Halloween is over this year, I can store most of this away for next year and add a little more every time!
This will probably be a photo-heavy post, considering its about decorating, but I hope you like it!
Here is what we’re working with:
Let’s get started with the center piece of the library: the fireplace mantle.
I got this over the summer from my mother, and it has been the crown jewel of my library decoration. It’s got a heat feature, but it’s still been so hot that I haven’t really been able to use it. But it’s going to provide a great place for my decorations to go!
With the mantle all decorated and looking quite 🦇Spooky🦇 we move onto the window!
The gel window clings are a cheap and effective way to add a little decoration to your windows! Like you saw earlier, this one was only $1 and it’s insanely cute!
I hope you guys liked how I decorated my office for Halloween! Do you decorate for Halloween? If so, what is your favorite kind of decoration?
Until next time!
