๐My Whimsical Weekend Morning Routine๐
I try to romanticize my mornings on the weekends as much as possible to make up for it. Iโm more able to just take my time and wake up when Iโm good and ready, so a lot of my romanticizing happens on the weekends. I try to start my mornings slow and easy, and I try not to pick up my phone first thing. Iโve found that if I pick up my phone and scroll too early in the day, Iโm more tired and in more of a sour mood from then on. I start worrying about just . . . well . . . everything. The world has a chance to creep in, and I stop feeling like the main character in a fairytale almost immediately.
In the spirit of that, here are the whimsical ways I try to romanticize my morning to maximize the feeling of living and breathing in my own little fairytale ~ ๐
๐ 3 Books That Changed My Brain Chemistry Forever ๐ Book Recommendations
Iโve had a lot of books come into my life and fully change itโso this is hardly a comprehensive list. If I made a full list of books that altered my brain chemistry forever, this would be less of a blog post and more of a novel in-of itself. So for the sake of brevity, Iโm only going to talk about 3 of the many books that have changed my brain chemistry forever. There is a higher-than-average chance that I might do more lists following this one that will include the others, but for now here are the three that have been on my mind lately.
Chapter 1.0 ~ Returning Home // A Harvest Moon: Back to Nature Lets Play!
Iโm very excited to share one of my all-time favorite games with you guys! I have been playing Harvest Moon: Back to Nature for a long time, ever since I was a little kid with my PS1, and have been a live-or-die harvest moon fan all of my life. Iโve been playing this game a lot on my own lately, and decided that it would be a lot of fun to share it with you guys!

๐ฆ Unicorn Frappuccino ~ A Whimsical Drink Review! ๐ฆ
Hello Folk of the Hollow!
Does anyone else remember the Unicorn Frappuccino drink from Starbucks way back in . . . I want to say 2017? Back then I remembered hearing about itโmostly mixed reviews, some people saying they loved it and others saying they absolutely hated itโand Iโll be the first to stand up and admit that I jumped on the hype train a little bit. I wanted to know what was so special about it that everyone was talking about it so much. Besides, whatโs more fun than a drink named after a unicorn?

Sew with Me โ๐ // A Cozy Evening Sewing My First Pair of Shorts
Hello Folk of the Hollow!
So around this time last summer I made the decision that I wanted to learn to sew my own clothes. I had this romanticized idea of living in my little cottage in the woods, hunched over my sewing machine, and cobbling together an outfit that was one hundred percent unique to me. I have always loved the idea of being able to customize every little thing in my life (which is probably why I love playing the Sims lol) and ever since I was a kid I wanted to learn how to do that very thing with my wardrobe.
Well, that ended up not happening last year after all.

Starsand Island Has Me Held Captive and I Donโt Want to Be Rescued // An Early Access Cozy Game Review
Guys, Starsand Island really has me in a vice grip.
I like to consider myself a connoisseur of cozy games. Maybe itโs an appreciation way the creators are given a premise of โmake a cozy gameโ and so many different games can come from that prompt, maybe itโs a sense of nostalgia since my first favorite games were the Harvest Moon franchise, maybe its the natural crippling anxiety that haunts me from day to day that these games soothe . . . thereโs no way to really know, but boy do I love cozy games.
I Got Some New Books! ๐ A Video Game Book-alike Haul
Itโs warm in the library today. I opened the windows to let the unseasonably February warmth in (itโs 72 degrees right now, with a nice cool breeze that occasionally comes in through the window) and I made myself a nice cup of chai tea. Iโm really happy to have you here with me among the piles of books! You wonโt be-leave the new ebooks I got!
๐ท๐ Itโs Finally Warm! ๐ท๐ A Reading and Gaming Day
Hi there, Folk of the Hollow!
Itโs finally warm! Normally Iโm not a fan of the heat, but itโs the kind of warmth that isnโt too hot, but warm enough that I can open the windows and feel the fresh air after a couple of months of it being too cold (though thanks to climate change, thatโs about it in terms of being cold, and it wasnโt even really all that cold).
